 Last-minute PSG defeats Monaco in the French Super Cup thanks to a Dembele strike.

DOHA: Paris St. Germain defeated AS Monaco 1-0 in the French Super Cup on Sunday, winning the trophy for the third straight year thanks to a stoppage-time goal from forward Ousmane Dembele. 

Before Fabian Ruiz's deft pass across the face of the goal allowed Dembele to score inside the far post, PSG had 27 chances, nine of which were on goal, but failed to break the impasse. After winning the league and the French Cup, PSG took on Monaco, the runners-up in Ligue 1 from the previous season.
