MANCHESTER, England: Manchester United is getting ready for the upcoming Premier League season by playing friendly in the US later this year against rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.
On July 27, "Tour 24" will match United against Arsenal in SoFi Stadium, a 70,000-seat venue in Los Angeles. On August 3, they take on Liverpool at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. This will be the largest club soccer match to ever take place at Williams-Brice Stadium, which has a capacity of 77,559 fans.
A total of 235,168 spectators witnessed United's four close-season games in the United States last year, including a sold-out match against Arsenal in New Jersey.
